One Year On

Your reactions to One Year On – Delivering through a Pandemic

The reactions have been coming in following the screening of our short documentary film – One Year On – Delivering through a Pandemic, writes Zoe Walker.

The film was broadcast at 8.30am on Tuesday morning as part of the National Day of Reflection, which commemorated the first anniversary since the start of the first national lockdown.

The film reflected on the challenges we have faced as a business - in the words of our people, senior leaders and unions.

Since watching the film, both colleagues and a number of MPs have taken to social media to share their views on the moving account of how our people stepped up to serve their country in its hour of need…

First Minister of Northern Ireland, Arlene Foster, @DUPleader: Thank you to our @RoyalMail posties! Despite the challenges during the last year – thank you for continuing to deliver to us. For many the only person they see in a day!

Conservative MP for Loughborough, Jane Hunt, @JaneMHunt: Throughout the last year, our posties have heroically continued to deliver despite all the adversity they’ve faced. Thank you to all the posties from Loughborough for all you are doing. Do watch this film produced by the @RoyalMail

Rt Hon Robert Buckland QC MP, @RobertBuckland: One year on with Royal Mail. With huge thanks to our posties here in Swindon.

Conservative MP for Chatham and Aylesford, Tracey Crouch, @Tracey_Crouch: Folks are rightly thanking nurses, teachers, shop workers, police, prison officers and lots of others for what they have done during this past year. I want to add posties to the list who have done an amazing job and share this vid from Royal Mail.
