New look, same support

Rowland Hill Fund hopes to increase donations following its rebrand

It’s never been easier to show your support for our in-house charity, Rowland Hill Fund, writes Paul Smith.

The charity for postal workers has a new look and an easy-to-use website – making it simpler to access support and make those all-important donations.

Despite a challenging 2020, the Fund still managed to help our own. Did you see this story about Ullapool postman Chris Maugher?

Fund manager Grace Owen said: ‘The Rowland Hill Fund has predominantly reached Royal Mail colleagues and pensioners, however, 2020 has reminded us that the wider public value our posties just as much as we do.

‘As the charity for postal people, it’s vital we communicate effectively to encourage new beneficiaries and fundraisers.

‘Our new messaging and branding is perfect for both internal and external audiences, and we hope to increase our donations and applications this year.’

The Fund has expressed its thanks to everyone who has contributed to their efforts, such as the team at Home Counties South Mail Centre who raised more than £20,000.
