Colleagues in Cirencester have been talking about the day they were visited by the Prince of Wales, writes Paul Smith.

His Royal Highness took a trip to Cirencester Delivery Office shortly before Christmas to express his thanks for the work Royal Mail has done in delivering for the country through the Covid-19 pandemic.

'It was the biggest honour I have ever had in my life,' said postwoman Sarah Burton. 'I was quite nervous but as soon as I saw him it was fine. It was like talking to a friend!'
