Christmas Stars is back

Time to recognise frontline colleagues for their dedication

As 2021 is drawing closer, let’s take inspiration from our incredible frontline colleagues who consistently pull out all the stops to deliver an exceptional service.

We’ve hit Peak, our busiest time of year, so it’s time to recognise and appreciate those of you who go above and beyond for our customers.

Despite this unprecedented year, our frontline colleagues have shone: adapting to change; managing record volumes; and delivering for our customers.

Our 2020 Christmas Stars campaign launches today. Please don’t hesitate to nominate a frontline colleague who is a true testament to our Royal Mail values.

Press play to hear a message from chief operating officer, Achim Dünnwald, thanking colleagues for their dedication and commitment.

Christmas Stars will close on Friday 18 December. Keep an eye on myroyalmail.com as our winners and runners up will be announced regularly.

If you would like to nominate a frontline colleague, please ask your manager for a nomination form. They can then submit your nomination via email on your behalf.

Need-to-know criteria:

  • There will be one winner and two runners up per area, each week, for three weeks.
  • That’s a total of 10 winners and 20 runners up per SDD, six winners and 12 runners up per RDC, seven winners and 14 runners up in national distribution and 12 winners and 24 runners up for Parcelforce Worldwide.
  • Each winner will receive a £50 voucher and Christmas recognition card, with the runner ups receiving a £20 voucher and recognition card.
  • The criteria to nominate is based on ‘customer service excellence’ – recognising any frontline colleague who goes the extra mile for a customer or who works hard to ensure we deliver during Peak.

Please remember, the awards programme is for operational frontline colleagues only.
