Sequins at the ready

Why not organise a Strictly Come Dancing sweepstake in aid of Action for Children?

Autumn is here, which means the leaves are falling, it’s getting colder and…Strictly Come Dancing is on its way!

The 18th series of the BBC One show is just around the corner! All 12 of the Strictly Come Dancing 2020 contestants have been confirmed. Waltzing onto the dance floor this year are Good Morning Britain’s Ranvir Singh, comedian and musician Billy Bailey, returning star Jamie Laing, and boxer Nicola Adams – who’ll be part of the show’s first ever same sex pairing.

Don’t let your winter TV schedule be a ‘disaster, darrrling’ – why not organise a Strictly Come Dancing sweepstake with your team? Use this template provided by our charity partner, Action for Children, and raise funds for their pioneering youth mental health initiative, The Blues Programme.

Getting involved couldn’t be easier!

  1. Get your colleagues to donate to enter the sweepstake, using SponsorMe.
  2. Assign one person to cut out the contestants’ names and put them in a hat.
  3. Draw out a contestant for each colleague and then fill out the form. Have more than 12 people that want to get involved? Run more than one sweepstake!

All your funds will be donated to Action for Children’s Blues Programme. Thanks to colleagues across Royal Mail and Parcelforce, over 5,000 young people have now taken part in this early intervention mental health programme.

Thank you for supporting Action for Children to deliver better youth mental health across the UK. If you need any support with your fundraising, please email Vicky at RoyalMail@actionforchildren.org.uk.
