The inside track
Making sure every piece of mail that goes through our network is paid for, is everyone’s responsibility.
Technology, such as our parcel sort machines, is helping us get paid fairly for what we do, but there is still more work to be done.
Press play to hear from our Revenue Protection team at Manchester Mail Centre and more on the invaluable work they do.
‘The Revenue Protection team in Manchester consists of 21 members of frontline staff,’ said revenue protection manager, John Littler.
‘We have a wider community because we’re obviously very reliant on our colleagues out in Process, Delivery and Operations, who have a vital job in extracting unpaid mail, making sure we’re following the process in terms of scanning sales orders and all the documentation that comes with PPI mail.
‘The revenue protection units nationally have a target of £53.6m, which is obviously a lot of money that we need to recover for the business.’
