High praise

Colleagues at Stoke Contact Centre received a special thank you letter from Mr Ian Dudson CBE, HM Lord-Lieutenant of Staffordshire in praise of the invaluable work key workers like us have been doing throughout the ongoing pandemic.

‘In my capacity as Her Majesty The Queen’s personal representative in this county, I am endeavouring to express, on behalf of the people of Staffordshire, gratitude to all who have contributed to the fight against Covid-19,’ said Mr Dudson.

‘I would like to recognise all contributions, in whatever form they have taken, all who have helped provide support in communities, and all those who have continued to provide key services throughout this awful pandemic.

‘Everyone who has contributed during the pandemic deserves to know how grateful the rest of us feel. The innovation, collaboration, courage and selflessness shown by so many across the county during the Covid-19 pandemic have been truly inspirational and uplifting.

‘As Her Majesty The Queen’s representative, I would like to thank you for the wonderful contribution you have made to the county during these extraordinary and challenging times.’
