WATCH: Be vigilant to avoid putting yourself or your colleagues at risk

The UK is experiencing a rapid increase in positive cases of Covid-19 again. It is therefore vital that we continue to follow the right guidelines and appropriate procedures to keep ourselves, our colleagues and our customers safe.

As we now move into the traditional colds and flu season, as well as towards our busy Peak period, it is crucial that we guard against complacency.

Press play to hear from Shaun Davis, global director compliance and sustainability, on the latest national picture and the role we must all continue to play.

‘A key message that we’ve been communicating right from the beginning is to make sure you’re washing your hands properly, particularly in between your fingers, in the crook of your hand and also, around your wrist,’ said Shaun.

‘We have followed the scientific and medical guidance around masks. We’ve seen that this has evolved over time and now there’s a requirement to wear masks in lots of places. The standard rule of thumb for social distancing is two metres or one metre with controls in place.

‘I’m incredibly proud of our organisation, our people and our relationship with our unions.’
