Proud partners

Royal Mail is proud to be the delivery partner for Loststock, a company created to support low-paid garment workers in developing countries.
Following coronavirus-enforced lockdowns across the world, there is £2.5 billion worth of clothing stuck in countries like Bangladesh – putting workers at risk of starvation.
The Loststock initiative – which has been covered across the media during lockdown – curates an order tailored to customer’s style preferences and ships fashion items at 50% of the high street cost. Each order can support a worker and their family for a week. It also prevents brand new clothes going to landfill.
Our South West Distribution Centre has been processing Loststock items through its parcel sort machine as we again show our ability to support a worthy cause at this difficult time.
Victoria Charlesworth, customer engagement and sales enablement, said: ‘As the distribution partner this shows how Royal Mail can adapt at short notice.’
In the first month, 105,000 items were ordered and went through the Royal Mail pipeline.
