Staying Covid-19 secure

In line with the Government’s guidance on working safely, we need to demonstrate that we have assessed and taken appropriate action to reduce the risk of Covid-19 in our units.
Once all relevant coronavirus risk assessments have taken place in your unit, a copy of the ‘Staying Covid-19 Secure in 2020’ poster will be displayed on your Health & Safety noticeboard outlining the below five steps, confirming that we have complied with the Government’s guidance on managing the risk of Covid-19.
- We have carried out a Covid-19 risk assessment and shared the results with colleagues.
- We have cleaning, handwashing and hygiene procedures in place in line with guidance.
- We have taken all reasonable steps to help people work from home.
- We have taken all reasonable steps to maintain a two-metre distance in the workplace.
- Where people cannot keep two-metres apart, we have done everything practical to manage the risk of transmission.
We wish to reassure colleagues that since the beginning of the pandemic, we have been closely following Public Health England guidance so that we can provide advice on preventative measures and minimise the risks to our people.
The latest up-to-date information and advice can be found within our coronavirus Questions & Answers document. Please continue to follow basic hygiene techniques. This includes, washing your hands regularly, particularly before eating, and regularly using antiseptic wipes to clean shared equipment, such as keyboards, PDAs and scanners.
