One little artist in Chichester made sure her postman knew exactly how much she loves Royal Mail.
Two-year-old Olive couldn’t have been prouder as she presented her (pictured) masterpiece to postman Paul Judd, thanking him for his service.
Olive’s mum, Abbie, posted photos of Olive in action on Instagram, with the words:
‘She loved giving the postman her painting to say thank you for being a key worker. ’Olive’s gift brought a smile to Paul, who said: ‘Receiving this card made me feel really appreciated and cheered me up exactly when I needed it.’
Chichester delivery office manager, Steve Byrnes, added: ‘It’s fantastic when things like this are recognised. Coronavirus has been something that you only think happens in films, but we are living this every day and have been doing so for the past few months.
‘It has been great to see the tremendous hard work done by all of my team in particularly challenging times when we really didn’t know what to do for the best.
‘Seeing our postmen and women delivering to customers has reassured everyone and has been an indication that the world is still in one piece.’
