Say thank you

As this week is National Volunteers Week, we wanted to take the opportunity to say a huge thank you to all our incredible colleagues, who have so generously donated their time to support our charity partner, Action for Children.

To date, Royal Mail colleagues have donated a whopping 1,346 volunteering hours and pro bono support to Action for Children.

Colleagues have volunteered to steward at Action for Children events, such as Byte Night and The Ultimate News Quiz, cheered at sporting events like the Solheim Cup, and got stuck in with painting and decorating at children’s services. Thanks to your help, numerous Action for Children services up and down the country now have new and improved outdoor spaces for children to use and enjoy.

We are always impressed by the number of people willing to give up their time to support Action for Children and think you deserve a huge cheer this week! Thank you!

NOTE: Currently, due to covid 19 and Government lockdown restrictions, Action for Children has suspended all volunteering opportunities to ensure people’s safety. We will be sure to share more volunteering openings as soon as they arise.
