Recorded Royal thanks

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall have shown their support for Royal Mail’s postmen and women – and you can hear an exclusive recording of their message on RM Radio.
His Royal Highness reads a letter, penned to our colleagues, in full in episode four of RM Radio – your five-minute Royal Mail podcast.

Respecting the social distancing rules, Aberdeenshire postman Neil Martin, collected the special written letter from an outside bench at their Royal Highnesses’ private residence in Birkhall, Aberdeenshire, as they waved from their doorstep.
Their letter praises postal workers for their dedication, resilience and hard work, and thanks them on behalf of everyone, from all walks of life, who relies on Royal Mail for the delivery of letters and parcels.

Their support comes as part of our ‘Thumbs Up’ campaign, launched to encourage customers to show their appreciation for their postman or woman by giving them a ‘thumbs up’ - from a safe two-metre distance.
