Throughout the lockdown, it is our people – our amazing postmen and women – who day in day out, have brought reassurance, light, and a semblance of normality to customers up and down the country.

Not only is it our everyday customers, the millions of housebound families, who have made such a wonderful show of thanks and appreciation for the work and dedication of our frontline people, but it is also the thousands of small businesses throughout the UK who have fed back to us and made it clear that without us, many would not have survived.

‘We should never underestimate the role that we play in our customer’s journey. We deliver their promises to everyone else. The fact that we have been able to do that has allowed people to survive and continue to run their businesses.’
