Boost your indoor-phins!

Despite the limitations of lockdown, there are still plenty of great ways you can raise money for Action for Children.
Our charity partner has provided a host of virtual fundraising ideas to help colleagues continue your fantastic support during this difficult time.
The ideas below are a great way to keep your team spirits high, while continuing to support youth mental health.
Share your skills
Why not arrange to share some of your skills and talents with your colleagues and friends. Speak a language? Teach yoga? Are you a star baker? Think about how you can share your skills with your friends, family and colleagues in return for a donation. Create videos and organise live streams to share your knowledge and skills with your peers.
Boost your indoor-phins!
Increase your physical and mental wellbeing with a home-based fitness challenge: who can keep the most active and earn the most ‘working (out) from home’ points? Every 30-minute session of exercise earns a point – you could do aerobics in your kitchen, lift weights in the living room, or run laps in your garden! Stay connected and earn double points by joining a colleague and doing a virtual workout session together. At the end of a month, the person or team who have accumulated the most points, wins the challenge!
Get quizzical
Missing the weekly pub quiz? You don’t need to anymore! Why not run a weekly quiz, with a donation to Action for Children. Either send the quiz out via email or host an online call!

Can’t talk, Write
In partnership with Action for Children and The Prince’s Trust, we have launched a special toolkit, to support young people through these turbulent times.
The toolkit, which you can download here, has been created to help children, young people and their parents/carers put pen to paper to support their mental health during and beyond the current crisis.
We understand that there is concern and anxiety about coronavirus. If you, or a member of your team, would like to speak to a counsellor, you can contact First Class Support available 24/7 to provide emotional (not medical) support on 0800 6888 777.
