Testing, testing…

Testing for coronavirus is now available to colleagues across the UK. We want to continue to support the health of our people by engaging with the Government testing programmes.
Please be reminded that in line with government guidance:
- You only need to be tested if you have symptoms.
- Someone in your household only needs to be tested if they have symptoms.
- If you have tested positive, you should continue to self-isolate.
- If you test negative, you can return to work if you are well enough.
- If you have no symptoms you should not be tested.
- Participation is voluntary and no information will be shared with Royal Mail. This is a confidential service.
We hope that as part of the role we all have in preventing the spread of coronavirus, colleagues who test positive will inform their manager, who can then support their absence and ensure unit cleaning where appropriate. Our unions are supportive of us signposting to this service.
