PPE for the NHS

Royal Mail is now a key partner in the delivery of personal protective equipment (PPE) to the NHS and adult social care locations.

We are working in partnership with the Ministry of Defence (MoD), eBay and Clipper Logistics to support a major Government initiative to ensure that frontline health and social care workers receive the PPE they need.

We have been working closely with eBay, who have developed a bespoke ordering system for the NHS and Clipper Logistics to manage distribution and large-scale orders direct to NHS hospitals.

Royal Mail is currently providing final mile delivery to NHS local health authority locations, GP practices and care homes.

In addition to the key role we have been entrusted with regarding the delivery and return of coronavirus test kits to NHS and social care frontline staff, this is yet another example of Royal Mail using our fantastic network to help those who are at the forefront of fighting the ongoing covid-19 pandemic.
