Rat thing you do

To celebrate the Chinese Lunar New Year of the Rat, Royal Mail issued a commemorative sheet of Special Stamps.
The stamps depict key UK cities that boast sizeable Chinese communities, as well as artistic depictions of the rat, Chinese architecture, sweets and fabric.
David Gold, director of public affairs and policy, said: ‘We sent a complimentary set of the stamps to His Excellency, the Ambassador of China, Mr Liu Xiaoming.
‘He wrote back, to say that he would “treasure” the stamp sheet “as a token of the deep friendship between the peoples of our two countries.”
‘He also wished everyone at Royal Mail Group a happy and prosperous Year of the Rat!’
According to the 2020 Chinese horoscope, the Lunar New Year started on Saturday 25 January and ends on 11 February 2021.
In Chinese culture, people born in the Year of the Rat are considered as ‘clever, quick thinkers; successful, but content with living a quiet and peaceful life.’
