Last Thursday night at 8pm on the dot, millions of people across the country took to their doorsteps, balconies and windows to show their appreciation for those working on the frontline of the fight against coronavirus.

With the hashtags #clapforourcarers and #thankyouNHS trending all day on social media, the explosion of gratitude for NHS staff, care workers, pharmacists, supermarket staff and our very own Royal Mail colleagues, who continue to do such a fantastic job delivering for customers, was heavy with emotion as all of us struggle to absorb the unprecedented changes of the past weeks.

These types of scene serve as both an incredible show of unity that we as a business stand united during this challenging time, as well as a rallying cry for all of us to continue giving our all.
