Colleagues up and down the country are soldiering on like never before, despite the increasingly challenging nature of what has become our new normal.
Like always, our customers recognise just how brilliantly our people perform their everyday duties in their respective communities and as such, they continue to send in their praise.

‘Ali is always so polite and kind, and goes out of his way to make sure we are happy with our service. He always greets everyone with a smile, and he’s an amazing postman, who deserves recognition for his constant kindness and loyalty for many years.’
Fern Devlin – Morley Delivery Office
‘Fern is a friendly member of your team. She always has time to talk to the people in the area. I have got to know her and trust her. She knows the names of my cat and dog, so much so that when the cat went missing, she spotted him on Facebook and put me in touch with the relevant people and now he’s back at home, all because she takes an interest in her customers. Fern reminds me of good old-fashioned values with people looking out for each other. She always has a kind word.’
Dan Friday – Stowmarket Delivery Office
‘I was walking along St Edmund's Road with my granddaughter in her pushchair. The pavement was very uneven and the wheels of her pushchair got stuck resulting in the buggy tipping over with myself falling on top of it. We were both very shaken and my two-year-old granddaughter was very distressed. Dan Friday was quick to come to our help and check that we were both ok. He then walked with us back to our front door to make sure we were alright. He helped push the buggy so I could carry my granddaughter and helped console her. He was so kind and is a credit to the Royal Mail service.’
Johnny Amery and Shaun Alcock – Northwich Delivery Office
Jonny Amery and Shaun Alcock went above and beyond tracking a parcel that went missing. This parcel was a special birthday gift for my daughter and out of work hours, Shaun put me in touch with Jonny who pulled out all the stops to find it for me. Working as a manager for a local business, I appreciate fantastic customer service, and this was a prime example of exceeding expectations.’
