Our next ex-professional footballer was one of the first ever players signed on a full-time contract for The Glovers.
5. James Bent
Chesham delivery office line manager, James Bent, previously marshalled the midfield for Yeovil Town.
While his football career started in right midfield, James became a centre forward after being compared to Alan Shearer. James said: ‘I even adopted Shearer’s trademark goal celebrations!’
His 49 appearances between 1998 and 2002 included a cup tie against Bolton at the Reebok Stadium and a live match against Blackpool on Sky TV.
