In an online world, Royal Mail’s postmen and women are ever more crucial in becoming the face of marketplace sellers.

In this week’s RMtv Now, eBay’s director of shipping and logistics Mike Pitt, is full of praise for our frontline colleagues.

After revealing Royal Mail performed better than ever for eBay’s marketplace sellers during Peak, Mike said: ‘It’s incredible just how hardworking postmen and women are – especially around this incredibly busy time.

‘Royal Mail’s postmen and women are the face of our business. In an e-commerce business, they are the only real physical interaction we have. Building that human touch and that relationship between postmen and women and our customers is incredibly important.’
