‘All-time high’
How we delivered the first December General Election since 1923
As we all know, Christmas is our absolute busiest time of year. But add 7.4 million postal votes, 25 million poll cards, and then a staggering 141 million pieces of candidate’s mail to the mix and you have the mother of all challenges.
Play the video above to hear head of elections, Rachel Winham, explain how despite the odds, we came up trumps on quality when it came to delivering General Election mailing.
‘We managed to hit a target of 99.93% on delivery, which is absolutely fantastic given the volume that we had, and also the time of year we had to deliver it in,’ said Rachel. ‘We did a fantastic job.’
