‘Paul has been the local postman for as long as I can remember and has always been happy and helpful. He always goes out of his way to help or answer queries. I couldn't begin to imagine how much post he’s delivered over the last 25+ years including birthday cards, anniversary cards, condolences, and wedding cards. I feel that Paul has probably witnessed so many life events from the post he’s delivered and really feel he should be recognised for the work he does in our village for both personal and business customers. Nothing seems to be too much trouble for Paul!

‘We have the most wonderful parcel delivery man, and I feel bad as I’ve forgotten his name. Not the postman - this guy drives a van and delivers larger packages. He’s a local (as he also goes to the same gym as me). He’s the happiest, most positive person I have the pleasure of seeing during the week. At first a smile, then a wave and now we have conversations. He makes the day brighter when me and my daughter see him. A genuinely lovely man.’

‘Big up to Rugeley Delivery Office. I had a message this morning to say a parcel was due to be delivered between a certain time. It hadn’t arrived and I was slightly concerned due to the special contents. I phoned the sorting office. They called the postie who was still delivering at 4 o’clock in this vile wet weather. She was en route. They called me back to say she would be here shortly. That’s fantastic service so polite and friendly. Only been here a few weeks too.’
