Stack, don’t nest

An election is coming. As the Universal Service provider, we have an obligation to deliver all election materials to every household in the UK.

It’s crucial these materials are delivered correctly. They must be placed separately, one on top of each other, through the door and not ‘nested’ – that is, placed inside each other.

If materials are found to be ‘nested’ it opens us up to criticism from political parties: they could argue we’ve been trying to hide or show political bias in how we deliver their campaign literature.

We’ve also got to consider our other Door to Door commercial customers: they don’t want to be associated with political views either way. By nesting them, you might inadvertently link that brand with those political views. 

In this politically sensitive time, it is vital we provide our service to the highest standard and guarantee we are above reproach in the way we help this election run smoothly.

So, please remember: stack, don’t nest any Door to Door items.
