Shaping initiatives
Our latest People Panel session, which was hosted by local service delivery leader, Aaron Barnes, took place in the Thames Valley area on Monday 4 November.
Colleagues from a range of business areas gathered at Swindon Mail Centre to help shape initiatives aimed at making Royal Mail a better place to work.
They covered the Employee Survey, diversity and inclusion, a new range of uniform and ways to improve recognition, amongst other topics.
Melissa Townsend, employee voice manager, said: ‘We had some lively and interactive sessions and it was great to get honest feedback from our panel to help. A big thank you to Aaron Barnes, Ray Mulvey and Cheryl Shaw who opened their doors to us and helped to lead a great day.’
People Panel member, Alison Mcauley, from Plymouth Mail Centre, said, ‘It’s nice to see what’s going on in the rest of the business. You get so absorbed in the issues where you actually work, it’s easy to forget about the wider business.’
