Fighting festive fears

Our confidential First Class Support service can help you and your mental health this Christmas

Christmas is a time many of us look forward to. For some, however, it may be a time of year you find a bit tough.

Christmas can be a stressful time of year, whether you live with a mental health problem or not. There’s pressure to socialise with friends and family, more temptation to overindulge in food and drink and of course, the financial strain that buying presents and the celebrations can put on your bank balance.

What the Christmas period brings will be individual to each of us. Regardless of how you feel about this time of year, we want to provide some advice and tips for ways to look after and manage your mental health leading up to and during the festive period.

Press play on the above video to hear Dr Shaun Davis, our global director compliance and sustainability, talk more on how the business can support you.

We want all colleagues to feel they can be open about their mental health and comfortable discussing any mental health issues that may be affecting them, either indirectly or directly. Speaking to someone, whether by phone or face-to-face, will only make things better.
