Case for change

In our half year financial results, announced today, we said that our transformation is behind schedule. This is likely to impact our rate of productivity improvement.

The challenging financial outlook for Royal Mail in the UK means that – more than ever before – we must make the changes we need. We need to accelerate the changes to ensure a successful UK business.

We want to change, working with our unions, but we can only do this through an affordable resolution.  

We have written this morning to CWU asking for talks without preconditions.
