‘This lady has absolutely gone the extra mile for me. Last year, I had a baby and was struggling with postnatal depression and anxiety. Rohan would always ask if I was ok and explain that she had a son around the same age and was also experiencing the same issues. She reassured me that I was doing a great job, and seeing her each day became a lifeline for me as I was too anxious to leave the house. She was often the only person I would speak to throughout the whole day! It meant so much to me that she took the time to check if I was ok and talk to me. My elderly grandparents also live across the road and have told me how she asks after them too and how kind she is.’

‘My son’s dog got accidentally let out by a family member. My son, who has severe learning difficulties, was upset and shouting in the street. Denise comforted my son as she could see how distressed he was and while out delivering mail, kept a look out for our lost dog, which we luckily found within the hour. I just think it’s nice to give a bit of recognition to those who do more than just deliver mail and parcels.’

I’m home on maternity leave at the moment, so I’m missing adult conversation at work. A quick chinwag with her always puts me in a good mood!’
