All wrapped up
With Christmas fast approaching, Action for Children services across the UK are preparing activities for the children and young people they support.
Present wrapping, trips to Santa’s grotto and Christmas parties are just some of the activities coming up and our charity partner need volunteers from London to Edinburgh to help support them over the busy Christmas period.
Activities begin at the start of December, right through until Friday 20 December and will be taking place in the morning and afternoons, on both weekdays and weekends. If you’re interested and would like to help, please get in touch at royalmail@actionforchildren.org.uk and provide the following information:
- Where you are looking to volunteer
- Preferable dates
- If you are contacting on behalf of a team, how many volunteers are there?
Please note that these opportunities do have limited spaces and will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis. The deadline for responding is Tuesday 5 November. Various opportunities will also require a DBS check, with the cost being covered by Action for Children.
Volunteers are vital to making sure that Action for Children’s services offer the best support and care to children, young people and their families. Without volunteer’s support, many trips and activities would not be able to take place.
