Who are you thinking of?

Just because Thinking of You Week is over, it doesn’t mean you can’t still send a card to someone you love

Last week’s Thinking of You Week encouraged people to send a card for no particular reason, other than to show that they care and were thinking of the recipient.

Thinking of You Week inspired thousands of people to create a wave of love, caring and happiness by sending greeting cards to the different people who light up their lives.

Not only did Royal Mail commit to including a Thinking of You Week stamp cancellation mark, which featured on millions of pieces of mail last week, but we also commissioned the above film where colleagues were encouraged to select cards, write them then and there and post them.

Sending cards generates positive feelings and wellbeing. Research has shown that receiving a handwritten card is far more personal, creates a lovely warm positive boost and makes people feel far more special than receiving texts, emails or social media messages.

Why not continue the message behind Thinking of You Week and send a card to someone you love, whether you want to cheer someone up who’s down in the dumps, or simply let that special someone know just how much sparkle they bring to your life.
