They shall grow not old

The First World War embroiled most of the nations of Europe along with Russia, the United States, the Middle East and other regions, in a conflict with unprecedented levels of carnage and destruction.
During the war, Royal Mail was part of the General Post Office (GPO) and our people were integral to the war effort.
Colleagues who would like to commemorate those who gave their lives for their country can request support from the business to hold services on Monday 11 November - Remembrance Day. We can provide a wreath along with a suggested agenda and some readings for a memorial service.
If you would like to hold a memorial or a two-minute silence, please discuss your request with your manager. Once approved, you can email our community team at community@royalmail.com with your contact details and site address.
Our head of corporate responsibility and community investment Lily Heinemann, said: ‘We're very proud to support our people who wish to remember colleagues who died in the Frist World War and others.’
