‘Great vibes’

To the mystery postman in Brockley, one of your customers says you’re ‘just the best!’

To the anonymous postman in Hayes, one very happy green-fingered customer has described you as the ‘kindest man I have ever met’. What’s more - you ‘give people a reason to smile in the morning,’ - thank you for your incredible service.

Sarah in Lisburn, thanks to you, a customer received their passport in time and was able to go on holiday, and Rachael in Rugby, thanks to you, a family were able to come back from their holiday to find their house safe and secure.

Below is a selection of compliments sent in by happy customers over the last few days.

Sarah Grant – Lisburn Delivery Office (pictured)

‘I have been waiting for the return of my passport. On checking the tracking number, it showed as “unable to deliver as customer no longer at address”. I have paid for a full years’ redirection, yet no one checked this package against the redirection list and it was missed. I rang the Lisburn Sorting Office and Sarah Grant kindly went out of her way to locate the package for me - thankfully she found it on the returns trolley where it was about to be returned to sender in Southern Ireland. Without Sarah going out of her way to find this for me, I would not have received my passport back in time for my travel next week. Thank you Sarah for all your help!’

Unknown – Hayes Delivery Office

‘My postman is the kindest man I have ever met. He comes every morning at the same time and always greets me as I am in my garden. He is always very smiley and happy. He should be recognised for his fantastic service as he generally sends out great vibes and gives people a reason to smile in the morning.’

Paul Ford – Dalkeith Delivery Office

‘Paul does a fantastic job and is so friendly, he goes out his way to make sure any parcels are delivered, he’s an absolute credit to your service thank you Paul!’

Unknown – Brockley Delivery Office

‘My postman is just so lovely. He’s such a friendly guy, just the best! I want to highly commend his friendly service! Sorry I don’t know his name, but he's Scottish or Irish!’

Rachael Baker – Rugby Delivery Office

‘We went away on a family holiday in August. Eager for the holiday we forgot to close our two front doors and lock up. Rachael is our usual postie and after seeing the door open and post piling up she locked up and posted the keys through my parent’s door who were also away at the time, but she knows live across the road from us from when delivering our parcels. I’d like to express my appreciation for this act, which went above and beyond her call of duty and job. This situation could have ended very badly for us.’

Jenny – Cricklewood Delivery Office

‘Jenny was extremely helpful. She answered all of my questions in a friendly and polite manner with additional explanation about items you can post to certain countries and regulations regarding certain products etc. Thank you!’
