‘I would like you to know what an absolute star employee you have in my postwoman. She is always cheery and has a big smile on her face, even in the pouring rain. Today she went above and beyond her job to deliver flowers to me. When I told her about my dad passing away, she was visibly moved, gave me a big hug, and told me how sorry she was to hear my sad news. I know she was off on holiday for a couple of weeks and she was very much missed by the whole estate. It was lovely to see her back bounce up the street with her lovely bright blue hair. I always think good work should be recognised. Thanks again for giving us such a great postie!’

‘I would like the manager of the Southend-on-Sea delivery office to know that staff there have been extremely kind and helpful. I left my work ID on your office counter when I used it to collect a recorded delivery letter yesterday and hadn't even realised. It was delivered to my home by the postman with a note today. I probably wouldn't have noticed that I didn't have it until my next day at work and, while it isn't a security ID needed to get through a barrier or anything, not having it would have been a great nuisance at the very least. My enormous thanks to those people for their great work and public spiritedness.’
