Solheim Cup

Action for Children is proud to be the National Charity Partner for The Solheim Cup 2019.

The event, which is the pinnacle of women’s golf, takes place at Gleneagles in Perthshire from 9-15 September.

Team Europe will face Team USA in a contest to win the coveted trophy at the biggest sporting event in Scotland this year. And you could be there!

We are looking for volunteers to help us make the most of this fantastic partnership. All volunteers will have access to the event before and / or after their shift to enjoy the golf, entertainment and activities taking place at this global sporting event.

Volunteering opportunities include:

Programme Sales Team – Action for Children will receive 40% of the proceeds from the sale of souvenir programmes at the event. We need volunteers for every day of the event week to sell the programmes. You can apply for this volunteer role here

Face Painting Team – we will be raising money at the event by painting European and USA flags on the faces of spectators at the event. You don’t need to be a face painting expert as we’ll give you a lesson when you arrive. You can apply for this volunteer role here
