Quality of Service

Our latest Quality of Service report for First and Second Class USO mail reveals that we have exceeded both our First and Second Class targets in the first quarter of the 2019-20 financial year.
- We delivered 93.2% of First Class mail the next working day, against a target of 93%
- We delivered 98.9% of Second Class mail within three working days against a target of 98.5%
Paul O’Keefe, transformation portfolio director, said: ‘We are delighted to have exceeded both our First and Second Class Quality of Service targets in the first quarter. This is a really positive start to the year and is testimony to the hard work of colleagues across the pipeline to maintain and drive up quality.
'The second half of the year tends to be more challenging as volumes increase through peak and adverse weather hits. So, we need to build on this early momentum. If we can achieve some record monthly performance results, it will ensure we meet our full year target. Everyone can help by focusing on safe and on-time delivery of each and every letter and parcel.’
