A quarter of the trays we present to our customers every day have defects.

Customers expect high standards from Royal Mail – and we have to deliver. Which is why there is concern across the business at the number of complaints we’re receiving with regards the state of trays used to deliver mail.

We give around 220,000 trays to our customers every day, and more than 25% of them arrive with some form of defect – from litter, to keys and PDAs left in trays and even dirt.
