‘Our postman is awesome’
Barry in Ruislip, thank you for going out of your way to help a customer, Colin in Wymondham, ‘you’re a delight to deal with,’ and Justin and Kelly in Brighouse, what can we say? A huge thank you – for your care and compassion in helping an elderly customer in distress.

‘On Friday my 88-year-old mother fell outside the house while hanging out laundry and was unable to get up again. Fortunately, your employee, Kelly, arrived with the daily postal delivery not long afterwards. Equally fortunately, she was with Justin that day, so the two of them were together able to get my mother off the ground and into the house. They cared for and looked after her until she was composed enough to ring for my sister-in-law. Essentially, a huge thank you to Kelly and Justin for going above and beyond to help an elderly lady in distress. Please pass on our gratitude for their civic-minded approach.’

‘I just wanted to say that our postman is awesome. He has always been super-polite and very thoughtful with our mail. He is never down, always upbeat and bright, no matter the weather. He is an asset to the service and shows off all the correct values one would expect from Royal Mail. We're sad to be losing him to another area and we hope the new postie is as good as he is. ‘I lost my wallet and Nikki must have picked it up. I know it doesn’t seem much, but a lot of people would have just taken it and run, but Nikki has revived my faith in humanity!’

‘I went into the Ruislip Manor sorting office to print a label and return an item to the shop. There was an issue with the QR code I had and it wouldn’t print. Rather than telling me to go home and print it another way, Barry went out of his way to find a solution. He was speedy and resolved the situation with no trouble at all. Thank you!’
