Strength to strength

A year after rollout, our Later Acceptance Times product has been shortlisted for an award

Since we launched Later Acceptance Times (LATs) for our Tracked 24 product more than 12 months ago, our enhanced offering has been going from strength-to-strength, with an increasing number of businesses signing up for the service.

Now it has been shortlisted for a prestigious award, announced as a finalist in the Association for Project Managers (APM) Awards 2019, in the Transformation Project of the Year category, under the title ‘Royal Mail Supporting Retail in the Digital Age.’

You can hear why Harlow postwoman, Micole Cooke, thinks LATs are good for our customers in the video above.

‘With the LATs, there’s more chance for customers to be at home when I deliver their parcels,’ said Micole.

The APM Awards recognise the best individuals, projects and programmes the profession has to offer. New categories this year aim to acknowledge organisations’ valuable contributions to the profession as well as distinguish particularly innovative project delivery methods.

Royal Mail Group joins a carefully selected list of 2019 finalists including Rolls Royce and Program Planning Professionals Ltd, who have competed against a record number of entries with some stiff competition.

As part of the next round, we are now expected to complete a presentation about the project to a judging panel on 2 September.
