Seeking new Trustees

The Royal Mail Defined Contribution Plan (RMDCP) has some vacancies for Member Nominated Trustees (MNTs).
The role of MNT is an important one. Trustees are responsible for the proper running of the Plan.
You need to be an active member of the RMDCP who has completed at least 12 months company service, or a former member of the Plan currently employed by either CMA Unite or the CWU.
Active members of the RMDCP employed in CWU-represented grades (irrespective of CWU membership) will be eligible to vote to fill a CWU-represented Member Nominated Trustee role.
Active members of the RMDCP employed in CMA Unite-represented grades and non-represented senior manager grades (irrespective of union membership) will be eligible to vote to fill the CMA Unite-represented Member Nominated Trustee role.
The Trustees encourage all contributing members to consider the opportunity. If you’re interested and would like further information you will find it in the leaflet ‘Member Nominated Trustee Election’ which is being sent to all active members of the RMDCP this month together with their benefits statements and a spring/summer newsletter.
If you have any questions about the process of becoming a Trustee of the RMDCP, please contact the Secretary to the Trustees, Ben Piggott, at ben.piggott@royalmail.com.
