Customers expect high standards from Royal Mail – and we have to deliver. Which is why there is concern across the business at the number of complaints we’re receiving with regards to the state of trays used to deliver mail.

In the film, we hear from colleagues at Redfern Park Delivery Office, who have found a way to keep their trays moving efficiently, in the cleanest possible fashion.
Customer and quality director Paul O’Keefe explains the cost to the business.
And customer Jim Coleman, from Whistl, tells us the damage it does to our reputation, and the harm it causes his business, when we don’t get this right.
‘We will often find things such as crisp packets, all sorts of rubbish,’ he said. ‘In some instances, bird excrement has actually appeared in trays.’
