Game over

A huge thank you to everyone who took part in this year’s Ops Fundraising Challenge

Our 2019 Ops Fundraising Challenge is now over. Thank you again to everyone for all your incredible fundraising efforts.

The last day to bank your fundraising has now been moved to Friday 23 August, after which the winners for this year’s challenge will be announced.

Play the above video to hear actor, Neil Morrisey, who shares our passion for the work Action for Children do, thank everyone for all their Ops Challenge fundraising.

Your tireless fundraising has seen colleagues cycle, run, bake, climb, strut, dance, and jump out of perfectly good aeroplanes. Dover postman, Paul Phelan, was one such freefalling example, who launched himself into thin air from 10,000 feet up, reaching speeds in excess of 125mph before landing safely on the ground in aid of Action for Children.

Every penny you raised will fund our charity partner’s internationally-acclaimed blues busting initiative, the Blues Programme, helping young people with, or at risk of, developing depression and other mental health conditions.

Remember, all the money raised by Royal Mail employees must be processed through Charities Trust so that Royal Mail can match your donations, helping your support go even further.

If you are paying in your cash or cheque donations:

  • Cash and cheques can be banked at any Post Office branch using a dedicated paying in slip for your Ops Challenge Team
  • Contact Chris at Charities Trust on chrisr@charitiestrust.org to request a paying in slip and remember to let him know which team you are part of
  • Cheques should be made out to Charities Trust. Please remember to write your name on the back of any cheques
  • If you have completed a sponsorship form to claim Gift Aid on your donations, please attach your Post Office deposit receipts to the form and send them to:
