Thumping goals in champagne country are all on offer as the Women’s World Cup 2019 doesn’t disappoint!

The 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup is the eighth edition of the quadrennial international football championship contested by the women's national teams of the member associations of the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) between 7 June and 7 July 2019.

And, here at Royal Mail, we have plenty of support for the countries participating among our colleagues.

With 79 Italians, 91 Jamaicans and four Argentinians - take a look at how many colleagues we have from each country by pressing play on the video above.

In March 2015, France won the right to host the event; the first time the country is hosting the tournament, and the third time by a European nation. This is the first Women's World Cup to have been hosted by a country which won the previous year's FIFA World Cup, as France were crowned World Cup winners in 2018.

Matches are being played in nine cities across France with the United States entering the competition as defending champions.

All 24 teams at France 2019 have now played twice and, already, the last-16 jigsaw has nine pieces ready to be slotted in. Group F rivals Sweden and USA became the latest to qualify with second successive victories, and the latter's win over Chile also guaranteed Japan's place regardless of how they fare against England on Wednesday 19 June.
