Hop hop hooray
Arun Kumar is a member of our International Logistics Centre (ILC) team. He is also the Guinness World Record holder for the most lateral bench hop overs!
Arun holds the official record for the most lateral bench hop overs in 30 seconds, having achieved 56, at the 2019 Vitality Westminster Mile event in London on Saturday 26 May, beating the previous record of 55.
Arun attributes his inspiration to Mike Sibley, our international operations director. ‘My inspiration behind this fitness activity is Mike Sibley,’ said Arun. ‘Watching Mike participate in a number of functional high intensity exercises such as the 24-hour Cyclathon gave me the motivation to achieve this feat, something I wanted to thank Mike for.’
Arun, who is also a personal trainer, is currently training to challenge for another Guinness World Record – the most number of push ups with 80lbs on his back.
