Go big in July

We’re now in our final month of this year’s Ops Fundraising Challenge

We’re now into the final month of this year’s Ops Fundraising Challenge. But fear not, as there’s still time to meet your targets.

Teams up and down the country have been going head-to-head to raise as much money as possible for Action for Children’s highly acclaimed youth mental health initiative, the Blues Programme, before the challenge closes on Wednesday 31 July.

One of Parcelforce Worldwide’s business development managers, Warren Fenwick, headed out to visit all the Parcelforce depots on his intrepid ‘Pass the Parcel’ journey. Covering more than 3,000 miles, Warren has been visiting depots with his trusty bear to promote fundraising activities and collect some great prizes for a Royal Mail auction.

On 20 June, Warren was joined by Josh from Action for Children who got to see some of the amazing fundraising the London depots have been doing including, London East, who greeted Warren and Josh with a cheque for a fantastic £554!

A huge thank you to Warren for all his support and we look forward to hearing more after his final day on the road on Monday 8 July.

We couldn’t possibly keep track of all the incredible Ops Challenge fundraising events going on across the business, so please be sure to drop Action for Children an email at royalmail@actionforchildren.org.uk to tell them what you’ve been up to.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Action for Children so far. Please make sure to keep encouraging your colleagues to help reach your target by donating just £2 per head. Remember, all your fundraising supports the Blues Programme, which to date, has already helped more than 2,500 young people with the mental health support they need. With your help, we can continue to reach thousands more.
