Together for animals

More than £22,500 was raised for animal charities via our payroll giving scheme in 2018

Together for Animals, formally Assisi UK, is the UK’s leading animal charity payroll giving organisation.

Together for Animals raises much needed funds for its five member charities - Animal Health Trust, Blue Cross, Mayhew, SPANA and World Horse Welfare - that work to save pets and working animals from a life of disease, neglect and abuse in the UK and abroad.

Last year, colleagues raised an incredible £22,543 through their payroll giving donations, helping the charity rehome more than 9,500 animals and treat over 340,000 animals in desperate need of veterinary care and treatment. In addition, the funds you raised helped Together for Animals educate more than 210,000 people in how to best care for animals.

Caroline Gaskin, Together for Animals development manager, said: ‘I wanted to express our thanks to your employees for the considerable funds raised during 2018 supporting the pets and working animals we care for.

‘Each donation we receive is equally shared between all five charities, making it an effective way of helping even more animals in need.

‘It is only through regular donations from kind people like your employees that we are able to rescue, care for, and rehome so many dogs, cats, horses, donkeys and other animals. Together we are ensuring that all animals have happier, healthier lives.’

Payroll Giving

Our Payroll Giving scheme, which holds the Platinum Payroll Giving Quality Mark Award, is one of the largest in the UK.

Our people have given more than £60m through the scheme since 1989, with thousands of charities across the UK benefiting from your generosity.

About two thirds of us give to charitable causes on a regular basis. However, we don't always do this in the most tax effective way. Payroll giving is a simple tax effective way to give to causes you care about through your pay.

If you pledge to support our charity partner, Action for Children, through payroll giving we will match the money you donate. Click here to find out more.
