All choc-ed out

The early shift team at Bristol Mail Centre got the 2019 Ops Challenge off to an egg-cellent start with their Easter raffle.
Mail centre manager, Rob Patterson, got behind his team and drew the winning ticket for the first prize – a large Easter hamper, which was won by OPG, Bill Banks.
Sharon Byford, early shift manager and organiser of the event, drew the second prize, an egg-normous 1kg ‘Dino’ Easter Egg, which was won by OPG Nick Owen.
In total, the team sold an amazing 522 tickets raising a total of £522 for our charity partner, Action for Children. This will cover the cost for one young person to go through Action for Children’s internationally acclaimed, Blues Programme, the preventative mental health programme that is fully funded by Royal Mail colleagues like yourself.
‘I enjoy organising the raffles we run on the early shift,’ said Sharon. ‘I love that all the managers and staff get involved and also the support from the other shifts with buying tickets to raise money for a great cause.’
