On your marks, get set…

The 2019 Ops Challenge in support of young people with or at risk of developing mental health issues is due to start in less than three weeks.
Our fourth annual Ops Challenge will be running for three months, from 1 May until the end of July.
Once again, we will be raising vital funds to support our charity partner, Action for Children, helping them continue the roll out of the internationally acclaimed mental health initiative, the Blues Programme.
During the 2018 Ops Fundraising Challenge, you helped raise more than £380,000 including matched giving. This is an incredible amount of money, but this year, we want to smash that figure and raise a record amount.
This year, five teams will be going head to head to compete against each other in a bid to raise the most money per person. Since the last challenge, there have been changes to the UK Operation structure, meaning the teams for 2019 are: North, South, Central, International and Logistics and ParcelForce.
The four awards your team can compete to win, include:
- Overall challenge winner – most money raised per head
- Most outstanding individual
- Most outstanding local team
- Most original fundraising idea
We have a host of celebrities supporting this year's challenge, including Action for Children's celebrity supporter, Neil Morrisey, who said:
‘Let’s make the Ops Challenge 2019 the one to beat! The money you raise will help to support young people’s mental health across the UK, through Action for Children’s Blues Programme. Best of luck everyone!’
Watch this space in the coming weeks for more on what challenges you can compete in, what your competitors are doing, and where your team is on the leader board. Good Luck!
