Tartan army

Scottish Free Spaces up for grabs - don your best tartan and join Action for Children in Scotland

By bike, on foot, in teams, or alone, you can have fun while challenging yourself, all in support of our charity partner, Action for Children.

Whether you want to walk, run or abseil, we have an event in Scotland for you! Every penny you raise supports young people across the UK through Action for Children’s Blues Programme. Through Free Spaces, your registration fee is covered and Royal Mail will match your fundraising pound for pound.

Kiltwalk

Don your best tartan and join Action for Children Scotland’s walking team to form one big Tartan Army! Challenge yourself to a 13 mile or full 26 mile walk or take part in the wee walk for under 16s and enjoy:

  • A pitstop every 4/5 miles
  • Bagpipes, fantastic support and excellent cheering en route to spur you on
  • Support from your local fundraiser
  • An Action for Children t-shirt and fundraising pack
  • The celebration at the finishing line, with live music all evening at the Kiltwalk festival as well as food and refreshments

There are four dates and locations spread throughout the year across Scotland, so pick one which suits you best and get involved with colleagues, friends and family to make this a sponsored walk with a real difference!
