An excellent ambassador

Ibrahim’s diligence and willingness to ‘go above and beyond what is expected of him’ have made a lasting impression on a grateful couple in Glasgow.

‘My partner had a very serious accident in which he nearly lost his arm. He was losing a lot of blood and was laid out while a neighbour tried to slow the bleeding. An ambulance had been called, but it was taking some time. Ibrahim stayed with us and was even prepared to take my partner to the hospital if the ambulance did not arrive soon. Fortunately, the ambulance arrived and my partner was taken to the hospital. I cannot praise Ibrahim enough for his diligence and his willingness to go above and beyond what is expected of him. We have always found Ibrahim to be a lovely person, but this experience has shown us just how amazing a person he is. Since the accident, Ibrahim has asked after my partner on each occasion, again showing his caring nature.’ – Catriona Bracey

‘Mr Thomas found a watch on the driveway. He asked my wife if it was hers...in fact it was my daughter’s watch which was very sentimental. He could easily have just put it in his pocket, but he didn’t so for this I am extremely grateful and want his employer to know this. Rose – Wandsworth Delivery Office

‘Rose delivers our post almost daily. She is absolutely wonderful. She is so friendly and you always see her rushing around. Rose is a credit to Royal Mail and a wonderful employee. Last year when I had a baby and we had lots of parcels that needed signing for or didn’t fit through the letterbox, Rose would give me extra time to get to the door.
